About Us
After a long and diverse career in business, Russell Lee
set out to develop an organization that would help leaders make lasting,
positive change. Holed up in his second floor office, he considered
the changes that he had lead in business and changes that he had faced
in his personal life. He studied numerous writings on the subject. He
examined text books and encyclopedias on a number of creatures that
are known for their ability to change. He consulted with biologists
and botanists. After spending months pondering and searching for patterns,
he discovered lessons in the caterpillar's transformation to a butterfly
that related to the process of change in humans. From this beginning,
Metamorphic Lessons was established in May 2001.
Today Metamorphic Lessons provides a variety
of services to help train all levels of an organization to create change
that is lasting and positive. It provides training programs to executives
to assist them with planning and implementing major change initiatives,
as well as motivational presentations to front line workers to teach
them how to gain positive benefit from changes they don't control.
Biography
Russell
Lee has wide and varied experience in business. He has worked at every level
from entry positions to executive to entrepreneur. Experience in a variety
of industries, such as retail, healthcare and financial; has helped him
develop a broad perspective of the challenges in business today. He has
taken organizations through dramatic change, such as restructuring, implementing
new technology systems, building new companies and turnaround situations.
He has developed numerous training programs and taught groups ranging in
size from three individuals to several hundred. In addition to leading,
managing and studying change in the business world, he has learned first
hand by approaching numerous changes in his own life.
